How do hyaluronic acid fillers work?

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are among the most popular aesthetic medicine treatments, effectively rejuvenating the face and restoring its natural volume. At the Medistica, we offer a wide range of hyaluronic acid-based products, tailored individually to each patient’s needs.

The results of the fillers are visible immediately after the treatment. Smoothing the wrinkles with hyaluronic acid

The wrinkle-filling treatment involves the administration of natural cross-linked hyaluronic acid into the area to be treated. This substance has the ability to bind water, giving it powerful moisturising, plumping and skin-stimulating properties.

During the hyaluronic acid filler treatment, the product is fully integrated into the skin. The results are immediate and last on average 6–12 months, depending on the type of product used, the treatment area, and the patient’s individual characteristics.
