HIFU lift – a non-surgical facelift and contour enhancement
HIFU lift is a technology that works on the deep layers of the skin and tissues, stimulating collagen and gradually lifting the facial contours — without damaging the skin’s surface. HIFU is suitable for both women and men. The treatment can be applied to the face, neck, décolletage and body to improve skin firmness and tone.
How does the HIFU facelift work?
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) uses concentrated ultrasound waves that target precisely defined layers of the skin. During the treatment, the energy penetrates deep into the tissues, inducing controlled thermal coagulation and triggering the skin’s natural regeneration and collagen production processes.
The skin gradually becomes firmer, tighter and lifted. Thanks to a variety of handpieces (cartridges), it is possible to treat different depths, depending on the area and the skin’s needs.
The effects of HIFU lifting
A HIFU facelift does not produce a ‘filling’ effect — it results in skin tightening and firming. The most common results observed are:
- a more defined facial contour
- lifted cheeks
- improved neck firmness
- reduced sagging of the chin
- a fresher, more youthful appearance
The effect builds gradually as collagen is remodelled. The first signs of tightening are noticeable within a few weeks, and the full effect appears after around 2–3 months. The treatment is usually performed as a single session, and any follow-up treatments are selected on an individual basis.

A gel is applied to the skin, followed by a series of ultrasound pulses. The sensations vary from person to person — most patients describe a feeling of warmth or brief pricks during the pulses. The treatment is generally well tolerated. - Post-treatment
Mild redness or tenderness may occur. Patients usually return to their daily activities on the same day.
HIFU can be performed on its own or as part of a combined treatment plan. Depending on the skin’s needs, the doctor may suggest combining it with laser treatments, biostimulators or regenerative therapies. The plan is always tailored to the individual.
