What actually is the needle mesotherapy?

Needle mesotherapy is one of the most popular treatments in aesthetic medicine, involving the introduction of active substances into the skin via multiple punctures using very fine injection needles. The aim of the treatment is to improve the condition of the skin, its blood supply and hydration.

The preparations administered during needle mesotherapy are carefully selected mixtures containing vitamins, amino acids and peptides, trace elements and hyaluronic acid. The process of pricking the skin itself also has a stimulating effect, triggering its natural regeneration and stimulating collagen production.

Preparation for needle mesotherapy

Before undergoing needle mesotherapy, it is advisable to prepare properly for the procedure to ensure the best results and minimise the risk of complications. The doctor will discuss individual recommendations during the preliminary consultation.

Basic preparation guidelines:

Do not take anti-inflammatory medication for 7 days before and after the procedure.
Hold a break of minimum 4 weeks from previous steroid therapy.
Avoid alcohol for 3 days before and after the procedure.
On the day of the procedure, the skin should be clean and free of make-up.

The results of the needle mesotherapy

Needle mesotherapy offers a wide range of benefits for the skin. The best results are seen after a series of 3–5 sessions carried out at regular intervals, as recommended by a doctor.

With needle mesotherapy, you can achieve:

deep hydration of the skin and improved elasticity,
a reduction in the signs of ageing – fine lines and loss of firmness,
