What is Plasma IQ?
Plasma IQ is a device used in dermatology, plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. A small electrical arc forms between the device’s tip and the patient’s skin, producing plasma which, in a controlled manner, is capable of vaporising the epidermis and tightening the skin at the site of treatment. The device can be used to treat patients for whom treatments involving the passage of electrical current are not recommended.
Who is Plasma IQ recommended for?
Plasma IQ is particularly recommended for non-invasive eyelid lifting in both women and men. It allows the results to be observed in real time – as much as 70% of the effect is visible immediately after the treatment. Studies show that the therapeutic effect achieved lasts for several years in patients (2–4). Non-invasive eyelid lifting allows for eyelid correction whilst maintaining full mobility of the eyelids both during and after the procedure.
