Cosmelan – an innovative skin discolouration therapy
Hyperpigmentation, also known as age spots or pigment spots, is a common and bothersome aesthetic concern affecting thousands of people. Cosmelan therapy is a highly innovative and effective method for reducing hyperpigmentation.
The treatment not only effectively eliminates pigment spots but also smooths the skin and enhances its radiance. A major advantage of Cosmelan therapy is its ability to be individually tailored to each patient and their specific needs.
Cosmelan is a unique, virtually painless, and above all non-invasive pigmentation therapy that lasts for three months. It allows patients to even out their skin tone and enjoy long-lasting results with minimal effort required during the course of treatment.
Who can benefit from the Cosmelan treatment?
Cosmelan hyperpigmentation therapy is suitable for anyone struggling with facial hyperpigmentation who wants to reduce unsightly spots, even out skin tone, and restore radiance.

Cosmelan – the treatment in Medistica
The treatment procedure consists of two stages. First, the specialist cleanses and degreases the skin, then applies a mask. The patient then goes home with the mask on and washes it off under running water after a few hours. The duration for which the mask is left on is determined by the specialist, depending on the patient’s skin phototype.
They then apply Cosmelan 2 cream for three months following the treatment, according to a regimen prescribed by the specialist. The treatment is painless. For the first few days after the treatment, the skin may feel irritated.
You may experience a burning sensation, tightness and redness of the skin. There is significant peeling of the epidermis, which can be alleviated by using regenerating creams.
