The procedure does not require anaesthesia – the patient may only feel a slight warmth at the site where the laser beam is applied.

The treatment lasts between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated. It is carried out whilst the patient is lying down in a comfortable position. There is no need to take time off work after the treatment – the patient can return to their daily activities on the same day. It is only recommended to avoid strenuous physical activity for a week and to refrain from using the sauna.
