What is the Dermapen 4.0 scalp treatment?
The Dermapen scalp treatment is an advanced therapeutic method involving controlled micro-needling of the scalp using a specialised device fitted with ultra-fine needles. During the treatment, micro-channels are created which:
- stimulate the skin’s natural regenerative processes,
- increase collagen and elastin production in the scalp,
- improve microcirculation within the hair follicles,
- enable deep penetration of therapeutic preparations,
- activate hair follicle stem cells.
Who is the microneedle mesotherapy treatment for the scalp recommended for?
The Dermapen scalp treatment is designed for people experiencing various hair and scalp problems:
- excessive hair loss (androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium),
- thinning hair and reduced hair volume,
- weak, fine and brittle hair,
- problems with an irritated or dry scalp,
- alopecia areata (in the stable phase),
- weakened hair following chemical or heat treatments,
- prevention of hair loss in men and women.

The effects of Dermapen treatment on the scalp
- a noticeable reduction in hair loss after just 2–3 treatments,

- Preparation and anaesthesia – the scalp is cleansed, and then an anaesthetic cream is applied.
- Dermapen treatment with application of preparations – a therapeutic cocktail is applied to the scalp and, using the Dermapen, is introduced into the deep layers of the skin.

We answer your questions
After the treatment, it is recommended that you avoid washing your hair for 24 hours, using styling products for 48 hours, and exposure to strong sunlight for a few days. The trichologist will provide detailed post-treatment instructions.
During the treatment, specialised therapeutic cocktails are used, tailored to each patient’s specific condition. These may include formulations containing growth factors, biomimetic peptides, hyaluronic acid or platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
The recommended course of treatment consists of 4–6 sessions, carried out every 2–4 weeks. The number of sessions is determined on an individual basis by a trichologist, based on trichoscopic diagnosis and the severity of the condition.
The first signs of reduced hair loss can be noticed after 2-3 treatments. Full results, such as new hair growth and improved hair density, are visible after completing a full course of 4-6 treatments.
