Platelet-rich plasma scalp mesotherapy
Scalp mesotherapy using an autologous preparation is a regenerative treatment that supports the body’s natural repair processes. At the Medistica, we use plasma or platelet-rich fibrin obtained from the patient’s own blood. These preparations contain concentrated platelets and growth factors that can support scalp regeneration and stimulate hair follicle activity.
The autologous preparation is produced by appropriately processing the patient’s blood, which yields a platelet concentrate. As a result, the material used is biocompatible with the body, minimising the risk of allergic reactions or intolerance. The growth factors present in it can support the skin’s regenerative processes and promote the nourishment of hair follicles.
The procedure for scalp mesotherapy using autologous formulas
Platelet-rich plasma supports the regenerative processes of the scalp and can stimulate hair follicle activity. The treatment is used to improve blood circulation in the scalp and revitalise weakened hair follicles.
Needle mesotherapy of the scalp is performed using an autologous preparation derived from the patient’s own blood. After a small amount of blood is drawn, the sample is placed in a specialised centrifuge, where platelet-rich plasma is separated from the other blood components. The resulting platelet concentrate is the preparation used during the treatment.
The plasma prepared in this way is introduced into the scalp using the needle mesotherapy method. The treatment is performed with the patient sitting or lying down. The entire procedure usually takes between 60 and 75 minutes. The growth factors present in the preparation can support the skin’s regenerative processes, improve microcirculation and stimulate the hair follicles.

The effects of scalp mesotherapy using platelet-rich plasma
Needle mesotherapy using an autologous preparation delivers visible results in scalp regeneration and improved hair health:
- stimulation of hair growth and nourishment of hair follicles
- increased hair density
- regeneration and proliferation of new tissue-building cells
- improved blood circulation in the scalp
- proliferation of collagen structures responsible for the condition of hair follicles
The first effects are visible around a week after the session, and the results last for 8 to 12 months. An improvement in the condition of the scalp and hair is noticeable after just the first session. For optimal results, a series of 3 to 5 sessions is recommended.
