What are exosomes?
Exosomes are microscopic biological vesicles produced by cells that transport proteins, growth factors and RNA responsible for intercellular communication. In regenerative medicine, they are used to support tissue repair processes, as they can:
- activate collagen-producing fibroblasts,
- support skin regeneration,
- reduce inflammation,
- accelerate tissue healing.
In skin and scalp therapy, exosomes are used as a biological aid to the body’s natural regenerative processes.
ASCE+ exosomes – a technology used at Medistica
At our clinic, we use ASCE+ SRLV exosomes, which are among the most thoroughly researched preparations of this type in aesthetic medicine and trichology. The preparation contains a high concentration of bioactive molecules that can support the regenerative processes of the skin and hair follicles. It is characterised by:
- a high concentration of growth factors,
- the presence of bioactive regenerative proteins,
- biological stability,
- a high safety profile.

Exosomes in needle mesotherapy
At Medistica, exosomes are administered via needle mesotherapy, which involves precise micro-injections that deliver the preparation directly into the dermis. This method enables:
- increased penetration of active substances,
- direct action within the tissues,
- stimulation of the skin’s natural regenerative processes.
Exosome mesotherapy is used in both facial skin treatments and trichological treatments of the scalp.
Exosomes in trichology – scalp regeneration
Exosomes are increasingly being used in trichological treatments to support the health of the scalp and hair follicles. When administered via needle mesotherapy, they can help to:
- regenerate the scalp,
- improve the microenvironment of the hair follicles,
- reduce scalp inflammation,
- improve hair quality.
The therapy can form part of a comprehensive treatment programme for scalp problems and hair thinning.

Exosomes in a combined therapy
Exosomes are very often used as part of regenerative therapies following skin-stimulating treatments. At Medistica, they can be combined with:
Dermapen 4.0 – micro-needling: Dermapen creates micro-channels in the skin, which enhances the penetration of the treatment product and boosts regenerative processes.
Fractional CO₂ laser – following laser treatments, exosomes can support the skin’s regeneration process and accelerate its repair.
The effects of exosome therapy and the procedure itself
The effects become apparent gradually as the skin regenerates. Possible results include:
- improved skin quality,
- increased elasticity,
- improved skin density,
- smoother skin texture,
- support for scalp regeneration.
During the consultation, the condition of the skin or scalp is assessed and a treatment plan is drawn up. Exosomes are administered via needle mesotherapy or used as part of a combination therapy. After the treatment, there may be some slight redness of the skin, which usually subsides within a short time.
